I've gone mad!

I've not updated since friday because I've not been home for more than five minutes at a time. Well its because I've been spending most of my time round at my new ladies house, drinking wine, wearing lycra and eating tasty home cooked curry... and lying in her bed watching the river through the window.

Fireworks at the castle were good on...

Albedo and such eh?

Sounds a very interesting project. smile

The fireworks sounded good.
miladydewinter:
aww, yay for your lady and your lycra! glad things are going well me darlin.

serves you right for heckling, did you get the 'bloody students' routine, or anything more original? my mum is a champion heckler, comedians just can't think of a comeback to a rude comment from a respectable greying middle aged mummy wink

I'm going mad!

Last night at the comedy I heckled myself to death. The first comic was relatively new to the job, but the second guy ripped me to pieces, but I just can't keep my mouth shut. I wasn't even that drunk. Arrrgh!

The problem is, it was a departmental outing for new postgrads, and all of the new people now think I'm an...

Was tagged by miladydewinter. Twenty facts took me longer than I expected...

1. When I was eleven or maybe twelve I was tied to a tree with dog leads and whipped with a branch by my then girlfriend [young love still hurts]

2. It says that I have a keen interest in Russian literature on my CV. Every interview Ive had has always had...

not so sure about the lycra now are we? bwahahaha! my evil plan to put them out of business for crimes against slightly flabby dancers moves on apace!

miladydewinter:
I'm sorry, but there's no regrets here... you must know the full horror of lycra.

have a good evening, watch out for radiators and girls with dog leads tongue

Word of advice...

Don't order a new video ipod till the new year, you might get it sooner if you wait.

Apple are money grabbing whores.

I only bought it because my shuffle broke and now I can watch videos instead of doing work in the office....

I've realised that despite my bravado and apparent self confidence that I've built up over the last few months that I'm really quite a scared person, shy and anxious.

I've been wearing a mask, I need to take it off. I need to be more like the me I used to be. I'm definately not at a point where I can look to a relationship...

Well then, whats new?

I've been naughty and bought lots of new music.

Fall Heads Roll [The Fall]
Present [Van der graaf generator]
You and Me [Open Hand]
Ambient 1 & 2 [Brian Eno]

the list goes on....

In other news I'm at something of an impasse romantically. I'm not sure that she is interested in me to the same extent I am in her....

Back from nottingham...

Only just become fully concious after a brilliant all be it super stressful four days in Nottingham. A little city like Lancaster is great to live in but in order to have a balanced social life I think I'll be exploring all the UK major cities over the next year. One bar in nottingham is my new favourite place. Its called 'Brass...

Today is a slow day...

Probably because I'm waiting for a certain lady to get in touch with me. It all started on thursday night when I met up with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. Later on [the beer had been flowing] one of her friends [who I've met before and quite liked on that occasion] turns up looking really really...

Hello,

Ooh PhD... my thesis is just a lowly Masters I'm afraid, but thanks for the congratulations anyway. what's your field? something invoving beautiful misty mountains I'm guessing?

Milady
miladydewinter:
very jealous, the most exciting place my course took me was a manky building in Holbon where I did my teaching placement *sigh*

and you're doing something useful for the planet, unlike all us layabout arts types! smile

Well the move was successful until I arrived at my new home. Nothing dramatic has occurred, well at least not to me. The previous tenants haven't left yet. Despite me having put down a deposit four months ago, surely thats enough notice to quit. But apparently they've got burst water pipes in their new house. Hardly my problem!

But never mind, lancaster is great. Met...

Yes, we have Brio here, but I am more familiar with it from my childhood spent in European countries.

Glad to hear that your move went almost with no stress. Can't wait tot see the photos! We haven't had any rain here so our fall is looking to be boring and drab, as the leaves are drying up, turning brown and simply dropping.

Its moving day tomorrow, I'm very excited, just finished loading the car, had to leave some of my books and records out unfortunately as the car was very low to the ground, but all the important things are onboard. Hopefully should be straight back online tomorrow night, but you never know, so this could be my last post for a little while, but we'll find...
