One thing I think might help is if you send your professor an email explaining something about why you didn't do so great, then ask if she could spend some time during office hours to help you out with whatever or just to catch you up. From my experience, most professors actually kind of like when you do this and are usually more than willing to help out. It also gets you on their good side, which is never a bad idea.
I've really been trying to stay positive lately, but it's just getting so hard. I can't remember ever feeling so dissatisfied with the direction my life is headed before. I don't even know what brought this on. I was just sitting here, trying to figure out this statistics homework for my biology lab, and it hit me how unhappy I am with things. Not really...
