I was ticketed for something called "Sanitary Conditions", in other words, for feeding cats on our front porch that can be seen from the street. I won't let them starve. I can't. My mother would have my head. Besides, most of the cats in front have been trapped, vaccinated, sterilized and returned. And I am going to be applying for a feral colony permit once the sterilization process,
It's a ticket I'll pay. For doing the right thing and doing it every day. It's the way she would have wanted it.

Also, I think it's awesome that you're willing to take care of those cats! I'm glad there are still selfless people out there willing to help animals.
