i don't like to talk in the morning. anything more than "good morning" really throws me off, makes me tense and irks me. i love the peaceful hopefulness of the morning (esp. now that it's still dark when i get up), and even how-are-you breaks it.
unless you are my lover and we are still in bed; but as soon as we get out of bed you have to be quiet until we leave the house.
it's a good day if i can get all the way to class (3 hrs after i get up) without saying a word.
can i just smile instead? i can do that.

group hug.

I don't mind when people talk to me. I never shut up myself.
But I really hate it when people think I'm supposed to be coherent within the first hour of waking. Don't ask me important questions. I won't remember what I said later on, and we'll have a big mess.

I'm like that sometimes too. It was kind of weird, I used to have really long hair and people would just leave me alone, because, well I don't know why. Then I cut it all off, and at the grocery store this old lady stopped me and my girlfriend at the time, just to tell us what a lovely young couple we were. She said how there needed to be more responsible, young couples like us?! Whatever that means. I mean, we were buying fruits and vegetables at the friggin grocery store, and it's not like my wardrobe changed when I got a haircut or anything. Just thought I'd share. biggrin

I concur.

BTW, did that ticket ever arrive? Just want to make sure it didn't get eaten by the USPS.

Cool, just making sure.

Ah lazy work-at-home day. I think I'm going to head over to 16th and Valencia in about 20 minutes and grab a sandwich and a beer...on company time. God bless America.
