Of course they are! Hopefuls and applicants (girls who are completely new to SG and have never shot a set before or made an SG profile) are encouraged to attend, the same as SGs and photographers. Its an all-inclusive experience. Definitely join the American SG group and find out if there's a shootfest happening soon around your area, or you could even suggest organising one.
