Well,
It looks like I'm moving cross country and going to grad school. I'm not quite sure which school or program yet, but I've got a place picked out and a place to stay for a few months. My life has been very unsatisfuying lately and I've let myself stay stuck in a rut, hanging onto a job that drives me insane. I'm tired of feeling this way, and while pulling a geographic doesn't do much in general, I'm ready for a change.
I suppose I could find a grad school around here and do this, but I think it'll be too comfortable. It's time to grow up a bit, get a damn grad degree, and move on with my ilfe. MFA program in Photography is what I'm thinking; there's plenty of schools in Boston that'll keep me on track.
Just another month and a half here. I've got to hang onto the job until the last minute, financially, so I'm walking the fine line between doing all the planning for this and not quitting my job until two weeks notice time.
I'm a bit scared about all this, as I always am, but I know for a fact that being in a school setting helps me feel better in my skin, and when I feel good in my skin I branch out in all the other ways too, including socially.
So, tally ho!

Always room for Firefly fans, good luck with moving cross country. Being scared before means your doing something good/different with your life.
