feeling extremely drained, but just trying to stay positive. i spent my memorial day working a 12 hour shift at the restaurant, but it will be worth it once i get my paycheck. saw the hangover 2 last night and it was amusing (this could be partly attributed to the whiskey that i smuggled in). sequels are rarely ever better than the originals and i...

sorry for the exhaustion and the anxiety. Hopefully the $ will make this all worthwhile.
I love random thoughts (as you may have noticed) and,
I also love the White Stripes, and would prefer them to get back together. All of Jack's projects are good, and Meg may be less than great on drums, but there's something about the duo format, the rawness, that just always worked with them.

My son and his wife saw hangover 2 and they really enjoyed it, just like th first one!

Hope you're keeping cool in this miserable weather.

sorry for the lack of posting, but i've been working nonstop. really loving the bakery, though. my coworkers and bosses are amazing...we went out drinking and then skinny dipping last night, lol. definitely a laid back atmosphere. i'm just anxious to see my first paycheck...that way i can start figuring out my total income from both jobs and start budgeting myself.

other than working, i...

I love those tattoo ideas!
Glad to hear it's going well & good luck with the exercise. Once you get into a routine, it's a lot easier to keep going - - getting into a routine, however . . .

so, things have improved a bit from my last post. for starters, after waiting two weeks, i found out i passed the drug test, so i still have my current job, which is a major relief. and last night i had an interview at the bakery and pretty much got hired, so i'm really happy. i go in next week for a trial day, so...

Hello back to you, cutie. Stoked for Sleigh Bells, and feeling more nerd love for Kristen Wiig. Hope you have a great week too. kiss

I can't wait to see them....October seems so far away. Although I did get my Mogwai ticket LAST October, and the show was at the end of April. I watched Explosions in the Sky when they were on Austin City Limits on PBS, and they were great.

kiss

Extremely stressed out, for multiple reasons. First off, I still haven't heard anything about the drug test and it has been over a week now, so I'm thinking I'm fine, but it would put me at ease to know exactly where I stand. Secondly, my student loans are now to be garnished from my paychecks. FML. I need every penny that I'm making these days,...

for me [and I have severe respiratory allergies/asthma] , Fluticasone has proven a truly life changing medication. I've been on the inhaled version, fluticasone propionate & the nasal spray (I guess they're both inhaled whatever ) for about a decade, and the quality of my life has greatly improved. I can't remember the last time I've had to use albuterol. I also use a generic claritin for the minor allergy symptoms, but really, being able to breath freely, without wheezing & coughing . . . again, life changing.

Hope you find something which offers some relief.

so, walked into my job today only to find out that my name had been pulled for a random drug test. FML. there is an extremely slight chance i might pass. damn me for smoking last week! i was doing so well too. but in a way, this definitely will get me motivated to start looking for a second job, which might become my primary....

feeling restless and unmotivated. i desperately need to get a hobby or something to fill my time that doesn't involve drinking. i've been wanting to start making collages and writing again. lately, i just feel like i'm not doing anything with my life, which is often reiterated by mother. but i think i would feel much more optimistic if i could be more proactive about...

Well, thank you...I actually never used to drink beer, but I'm starting to really enjoy trying different brews. I'm still very partial to whiskey, though. smile
