As for falling in love, I know what you mean, Mine was four and a half years, and I was scared out of my mind...I still am, so I know what you mean. I found that if it is real love though and not lust, then your heart will lead the way, and there will be no questions asked, no worries, none of that.

I think that we all handle things better when eveything is going to hell. If nothing else, because we expect more to go wrong. That just makes it seem like what we've got going on is so very much less than it is.

Ok I just read your other site , I can tell you that I do know what you are going through , many student go through a period where they change their major several times . Initially I was a biomedical engineering major , Even earned a bachelors of science degree in that major , I was not happy and ended up returning to school and earned a juris doctorate and then was eventually admitted to the bar in California , Connecticut , and Washington D.C. , now I seldom practice law as I run R&D programs for Lockheed Martin as well as running two of my own companies .

You may be confused and stressed out about what and where you want to go in life , but try to stick with school for now and just change your major when you decide what you really want from life . You are allready on an emotional roller coaster with the sudden changes in your love life , so just try to unwind from that scene while your thoughts become clearer .

If I was any good at dealing with relationship problems I would comment on your situation , but my love life is a fatal train wreck right now

Seriously, though. I think some guys are just too overly emotional. There's a happy medium that penis-bearing folk do not understand nor appreciate, for the most part. I hate to talk in generalizations, but I feel somewhat justified in this area. Couple that with the fact that he's not been in another relationship (as you previously stated) and you've got an almost perfect formula for over-attachment, and self-loathing.

Well, I'm talking too much. By the way, I'm sending some love your way, and some hope that things resolve wonderfully.

Friends are easy to replace, but switching your life to suit those changes is more difficult. I've found that it's much harder to find a new routine which allows you the opportunity to find new friends, than finding new friends. Especially when you've been doing the same things for so very long. Everyone deserves some trustworthy friends, and I hope you can find some people who aren't "worthless" themselves

Hey sweetie. I'm quite short on friends too. It probably doesn't help that I'm shy as hell! Anyway, if you ever need a friend I'm right here in Lawrence so we could chill whenever. I hope things look up for you.
