I have to think of a better word than "lurker," because it makes me sound like a:

a) creeping pervert under your windowsill
b) swamp monster just crawling out of the muck
c) demented camp counsellor from a horror movie, waiting to rape you with a wooden hand
d) some ghastly combination of the above

Seriously. The only other option is to simply NOT be a lurker, but that's pretty unlikely.

My default LJ user icon, and eventually a tattoo (I've wanted it for years):

That's a pendant. I have 3 more pendants, 3 different styles of earrings, and a ring.

From a pagann standpoint, I like what it stands for...and it's pretty. smile

this site is populated by geeks of one stripe or another.

and i would most likely read a book about pollution in London in the 1800's if it were laying around near me. I like london and the evolution of pollution & industrialism is interesting.

if one is a geek, that is wink

no, not really. It's about the dark ages, and specifically the huge hiatus about 540AD - China, Central Asia, Europe, Central and South America, Korea - stuff going wrong all over the place. Very interesting. As I say, I think he might be trying a bit too hard in places, but overall he's pretty convincing.
