So I recently turned 50! It's supposed to be this big deal but really it's just a number for me. I've been through a lot prior to that so I'm fortunate and happy to be pretty healthy and alive!
Since it is a big number for the most part I decided to celebrate in Vegas! Spent the week there with my wife and another couple. We saw the Jabbawockeez at MGM, gambled and ate a bunch of different place and some of the same old places that we like.
The main deal was going up to Mt. Charleston on my birthday for a beautiful view, lunch and cold (26 degrees cold). The next day I did the Skyjump off of the Stratosphere tower (855 feet on a wire cable to the ground) and finished up the day with stage side seats to Olivia Newton John followed by a meet & greet (pictures too). I was a mess when she came out on stage but got it together when it was meet & greet time. It was like putting on a CD and having her sing the hits to you in person. Over all a life time of memories and fun.
Now back to reality!
