As for which position would burn more calories, well, I think for guys, it would be standing up holding the girl. For girls, I think it would be them on top squatting down.
The position that would burn less calories would have to be the one when you are the person lying down (you are the person on the bottom).

You never burn off late night Taco Bell or such snacks... wink haha just kidding. Sex will burn off those calories. smile
