Well, booze combined with video games is ok....

It's gonna be at Rose Bowl, which is in NDG, and we're all meeting up at Vendome metro to go there together on the bus at 8pm. The address is 6510 St-Jacques West if you're going alone or by car or what have you. Otherwise, you'd take the orange line of the metro from downtown out to Vendome, then take the 104 bus to the corner of St-Jacques and Cavendish (you'll see a giant grocery store called Loblaws on the left, a Tim Horton's on the right, Rose Bowl is also on the left, but sort of buried behind a lot of strip mall stuff), and you're there. We'll be the gang of ruffians, possibly wearing red berets. The Lemonkid is acting as a signpost as he has neon orange hair and is easiest to spot.

I was very tempted to go...but its such a pain in the ass to get to that venue. I think thats why we're not going.

i'm actually playing the pc version of Call of Duty 2
its just as good as the first one. its loud, fast, and non-stop fighting.
though i must admit i'm growing a bit tired of killing nazis and playing the same damn d-day levels.
after playing FEAR and Battlefield 2, its sometimes hard to wanna go back to ww2 games.

i played city of heroes for a month cause it was free but it was hard sharing time with world of warcraft
that sounds really lame. i really should keep this stuff to myself.

i am jealous of your video card. my ati 9800 is getting old and i need to upgrade
though its really hard justifying buying a new one, especially since a new card equals the price of an xbox360.

battlefield 2 is the shit. it was the game i couldnt stop playing till i picked up WoW. i had to make up an imaginary half way point to trick myself into one day quitting.

also the new issue of PC Gamer comes with a dvd of City of Heroes and a code for three weeks of free play. i started a character but havent played much because one online game is enough.

This last Sigur Ros show was absolutely amazing. They had alot of visuals with them and it really added alot to the performance. Also, the new stuff is just great. I'm really into the new album. Its more rocking...if you could consider them rocking...

I finally got my girlfriend playing video games. Plus, when we were at the game store buying the system and game the "cooler" of the game nerd clerks rang us up and I totally thought he was laughing at me for buying the game for my girlfriend and then towards the end of purchase he said "by the way, this game is really awesome"
