my band, the velocet, is playing a show at the knitting factory main space in ny this thursday, jan 13th @ 9:00 if anyone is interested in coming out for a night of music. the band following us, mad larry, is also really great with quirky, danceable talking heads-ish stuff. i'm gonna stick around and see them play as well. should be a fun night.

yeah i'm learning all about the prescribed thing since i am being prescribed oral morphine on a daily basis to deal with chronic pain issues. my doc just switched me cold from my old stuff to this. i had a really hard two weeks as my body got over the old stuff and got used to this. i sometimes wonder if any of it is worth it.

have not seen that bridges movie yet, i have always liked him so will have to add it to my netflix que.
