2. Submissive to everything, open, listening
3. Try never get drunk outside yr own house
4. Be in love with yr life

I actually kept one girl in my class from eating her lunch on Halloween because of that costume. I thought it was hilarious.

Hopefully I should hear from the guy who's doing my tattoo by the weekend and then I can set up an appointment. I'm crossing my fingers for next Monday.
illbillzillbub:
i dont think i have 5 of anything in any of those
except maybe some cheese in the fridge

My contribution to Journal Poetry Day is Gil Scott- Heron's "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised" (I'm still in a revolutionary mood like last week; and no, I didn't write that one last week! That was Alix Olson. Check out her website. She is righteous.).

You will not be able to stay home, brother.

Well, despite being (literally) a Johnny-come-lately, I have to stick up for Mr. Cash, who sung about the marginalized in society and more than once sung to actual prisoners, but aside from that I can appreciate Mr. S-H.

If you at all value a woman's right to choose, go visit my man Destro and read what he wrote yesterday. Then give him huge, mad props. There need to be more men like him. Thanks again, dude. kiss kiss kiss kiss
feodor:
I most certainly did. Destro definitely has it all together. Put's my faith back into humanity knowing there are warriors like him around.
Glad to see you back online. Trust all is well. Thanks for the heads-up and great contacts. Green blessings!

It's Journal Poetry Day! Here's something from the queen herself, Alix Olson, in honor of this special time of year:

Witches

theyve made us fear every year,
every extra hair that sprouts on tit or chin
til we begin to forget the wisdom weve collected,
til weve defected to the distinguished older men
and they win-- again.
well, ive decided to trade that old...

Hey, I know I've only commented here a few times, but but I always like reading what you write. I think I remember reading that you have a livejournal; if you have any inclination, look me up here. kiss

wow! i like that ^^ i may have to look some more of her stuff up..
thanx for the comment. i just hate it when people don't think of all side of a situation before trying to convey thier opinion.it makes them look more moronic in the end...

OK. Some major changes going on in my life:

When fall quarter is done in December, that's it. I'm not going back. Instead, I think I'm going to take the Cella Training Program through the Re-formed Congregation of the Goddess. It's a 6 year program, and at the end I can become a legally ordained Priestess. I am really, really feeling the pull toward this...

And today's Tarot card is:

Justice. "Fairness. Justice. Proper balance. Harmony. Just reward. Someone who does not take unfair advantage." Cool.

Oh brother - it's articles like this that give Wicca a bad name. "I believe in like spells and stuff like that." Spoken like a true 13-year-old "wanna-blessed-be"... whatever

Not much to report. Lots of rain and thunder yesterday; poor Byron rode the bus, and...

Things seem to be going well so far.

Apparently it would be good if I could show up every day to snuggle. So I'm making a suprise visit tomorrow afternoon. Wish me luck. biggrin

And today's Tarot card is:

The Magician. "Creativity. Great confidence. Willpower. Translating thought into action. Authority. Control. Skill."

Oh yeah!! That is speaking to me. We had a great full moon circle last night with our new group. Each day I have a better and better feeling about being involved with the group. I think it's going to go places!

The new site design is...

I'm starting to feel better today. I'm going to have a cup of tea and eat something right now. That should help. Also, I've discovered the healing wonder that is snuggling. I feel so much better as a result. tongue

I have no great love for the new design either. My head hurts after a little while. No long hours on the boards for me. frown
