I'm just happy to have a day off today, and plenty of peace and quiet. This week has been nothing short of a nightmare, and the lack of sleep was really starting to get to me. As a matter of fact.. I'm going back to bed for an hour or two, and then I'll update!

I've just realized why I haven't built myself a new computer until recently.. Now I'm on the fucking thing 24/7! I am once again hopelessly addicted to Counterstrike & Half Life 2.. It's five in the fucking morning and I've got work today, but I've been up all night again..

Moved into a new place! Lots, lots lots!
Tokyo on $150...stayed ina hostel, shared a room resembling a horse stable (actually horse stable is generous..it was more like a broom closet.) with my best friend. Ate at the 99 yen food shop, and bought souveniers at the 100 yen store! Absorbed culture, by buy beers and walking the streets. it was just so amazing.

I love Japan. It is one my favorite palces in the world. I have been a few times. Was in Tokyo last summer and only had $150 for 4 days! It was amazing. The level of respect and kindness in their society is truly awe inspiring.

So... What did you do for the holiday weekend? Me.. Oh.. I spent two full days working at a client's place that I couldn't even fucking bill for!! There's nothing like working two 12 hour days and not getting paid for it! Everyone else who does what I do charges at minimum $150/hr for emergency support, but not me.. at least not this time..

sounds to me like you're being a bit too hard on yourself. i don't see how obsessing over this could possibly help - and it doesn't seem like you do either! so why don't you just relax and um.. relax!!! yeah. its ok. and when you fuck up again, you'll apologize, and it will be ok all over again! oh, and if you're worried about the way your head is wired, you can always rewire it - it just takes a lot of patience and diligence. neurons that fire together, wire together. all you have to do is interrupt the firing sequence enough times and POW! you're rewired. doesn't that give you a warm fuzzy all over?
