Only one more month 'til graduation!! Woo Hoo!! Sadly, that means I'll be left with no income, as my financial aid money will disapear. Need to get into serious job search mode (between finishing classes and outside school requirements), but I'm sure something will turn up; it just has to last for a few months until I get my national certification test and my IL...

Thanks! It was kind of a tough weekend, but I'm coming through it. Just concentrating on my road trip with my daughter right now. Plus my birthday's coming up, so I'm relying on my good friends to do their duty, take me out and get me drunk (what friends are for, right?). biggrin

Birthday Festivities

This Friday (June 23rd) is my 36th birthday, and in celebration, I want to spend the weekend hanging out with my friends; everyone is welcome.

First thing will be a gathering at Ranalli's on Clark St. at the corner of Beldon (on block south of Fullerton), under the Tower Records, starting around 7:30.

Sometime after that, we'll head over to Neo (a half-block...

Hello everyone, and welcome to Endeavor Press's latest newsletter!

I hope 2006 is treating you all well so far.

First thing, I'm completely sold out of the Limited Edition of Tom...

I usually play on Triumph, but I'd be wiling to start a character on any server to join an SG group. I like the idea.

So what are the details? What server is it on? Who's in charge, and what are the character build/costuming rules? How do I get in?

[Edited on Nov 08, 2005]

It's on Infinity. I'm running it with LotusMonger being my Right Hand Man (and only male toon in the SG, LOL). Build... Play whatever you'd like. We've got one of each, with an Extra Brute and Dominator. Cotuming... Sexy is a plus but not necessary, Rhapsody is in biker gear, so... The only real rules are really simple. Stay in SG mode, and keep at least one piece of your costume in Pink and black. I've got pink haired Villains right now, and someone's wandering about in a pink skull belt.

Sorry I've been away, been working like a motherfucker lately. Hopefully I can catch you sometime this coming week.

Been crazy busy lately. Spent last weekend at the World Fantasy Convention mixing and mingling, but now I'm home and I get to relax. Well, not really, 'cause I have to catch up on everything I missed while I was gone. Had a great time in any case, but this is just going to be a busy year. Massage Therapy school is going great; "A"s...

Turn back the clock with me, if you will, to a not-too-distant time. July 2nd, 2005. I was spending the day at a friend's July Fourth party, and having a wonderful time, despite not drinking, since I had driven there from the city. Towards evening, I started talking to a very attractive woman and we seemed to be getting along quite well. We spent several...

Listening to the new DISTURBED CD now, "Ten Thousand Fists" - it totally kicks ass! More like their first CD than the second. If you like Disturbed, you have tto get this one.

Every track is awesome. They're getting a bit political in this one; there's a very heavy handed anti-bush track, and an equally heavy-handed anti-war track, and they did a cover of "Land...

Last month I finally splurged and bought a new car stereo because the CD player on the stock stereo has not worked at all in the two and a half years that I've owned my car. I had some long distance trips coming up and decided I needed the ability to listen to CDs rather than constantly scanning for static-laced stations that I lose after...

Just got home from a week long trip to Maryland for a convention and visit. The convention was Horrorfind, a horror convention focused mostly on media and movies; not so muhc on books. I had fun, and I saw a lot of old friends, but it's not really worth going back to again, business-wise. Made some good connections, but lousy sales. There were only two...

Apparently, I have a pet spider.

I first noticed a couple of weeks ago that every time I went out to my car, there was a spider web streched from my driver's side rearview mirror to the window. I'd drive somewhere, the web would get destroyed, and next time I used the car, the web was back. But I never saw an actual spider.

Until...
