I've spent most of the week in my pajamas. My sleep pattern is all screwed up. I don't fall asleep until 5 or 6am, even though I take pills that should make me sleep. Strange.

Still have a screw in my tire. Supposed to drive to Downtown Disney on Sunday, so I really need to get up tomorrow to take care of it.

I want...

I've spent a great deal of the past few days watching movies. Saw Click (it was good), American Psycho (freaked me the hell out) Exorcism of Emily Rose (not what I expected), and Alfie, because I love Jude Law. I watched Closer last week and I swear they always give that guy a raw deal at the end of a movie. I also rented The...

Why did you take the piercings out? Those were cool.

I hate growth in many ways. It is inevitable that it will happen, but I really think they should keep the ecology in mind a lot more when they do these things.

Like, for example, they built a rather large park by our library. Very nice park, and serves an excellent purpose and is well used. However, they displaced thousands of rats into OUR HOUSES! nice job on that one.... they didn't attempt to shift their nesting patterns or anything they just plowed right through all the land.

So people then had to pay 100s of dollars to get rid of the rats that if they had just done a controlled demolishing, they could have simply forced the rats to migrate nests slowly and NOT INTO OUR HOUSES!.

anyhow....

Why don't you like Kung Fu movies? I love em!

american psycho, the book version, is WAY fucked up and creepy. you should read it for sure.

and fuck expansion. lets put birth control in the water!

You know, I love Alton Brown, and I love Good Eats, but that lobster episode grossed me out. I know they are closely related to cockroaches, but did he HAVE to keep referring to the lobsters as "bugs"? I could never order or cook a whole lobster, though. I don't like food that is staring at me.

I thought I had more to say...oh, FINALLY...

Watched The Grudge with the kid earlier because he wants to see part 2 on Friday. He said it wasn't scary but he wants to see part 2 anyway. Typical. Actually, it would be really awesome for the two of us to go to a movie sans his buddies for a change. I guess its the damn baby fever, but I'm feeling this real need...

I hear ya with the baby fever..I saw a post that Twwly had her baby and I got a little weird emotional feeling in my tummy..

I know its not everyone's "thing" but I thought the new Twwly set was beautifully done. I think it encompasses her life where it is now, which happens to be ready to bring another life into the world while living in a very gentle, natural place.

I find pregnant women to be beautiful anyway, and I'm typically jealous when I pass one in a store...

"If children were brought into the world by an act of pure reason alone, would the human race continue to exist? Would a man rather have so much sympathy with the coming generation, as to spare it the burden of existence? Or at any rate not take it upon himself to impose that burden upon it in cold blood."

~Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860)
from "Sufferings of the World" (1851)

BUT thats different from showing 9 month prego girls all sexed up on a porn site. Isn't it ? Which is more what my mini-rant was about. To me, thats just sort of surreal .
Nice thing for a blog or something if you want to share intimate aspects of your life like that with your friends and peeps. Make it a softcore porn spread ? you must be kidding .
I guess on a site so female orientated and dominated I should expect a bunch of cooing and fauwning about being pregnant. whatever
Enjoy it if thats your thing.
Don't expect everyone to. I know for me, I'm definitely not on SG for the celebration of pregnancy. That is about one of the last things I care to see here honestly

more or less. he has only crapped twice on the floor since he started his meds. which is pretty good, i think. smile

Turtle poop fish biscuit! If you know what I'm talking about I guess we watched the same shows tonight.

Lost was srsly cool. All the commercials were not. I have some theories about the numbers, and some of the newer characters, but I don't know if anyone else watches it, so I'll just spam it in the Lost community.

Very happy with the viewers favorite...

how old is your kid?

Yeah.

I'm seriously bummed that I didn't make it to the tattoo convention in Jax this weekend. I didn't feel safe driving up there with a screw in my tire. Have to get that fixed next week though since I definitely have to be in Auburndale next Saturday for a friends birthday.

I made chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight. For my first shot at...

Dear Kotex,

I recently noticed that the peel-off strip of my panti-liner had a bunch of "Kotex Tips for Life" on it. Annoying advice such as:

Staying active during your period can relieve cramps.
Avoiding caffeine may help...

These guys are my first rats, and I recommend getting rats wholeheartedly. They are so sweet. They don't smell, they're very social and affectionate (Chomsky, the champagne feller, grooms me incessently).

They take a little more time than hamsters and mice, because they get depressed if you don't take them out to play every day, but it's really fun, so it's not like it's a chore.

either way. The more people we have on our team the more likely we are to be able to raise enough money!

Donations are always preferred to walking, but hey,if you walk, and bring 200 dollars in donations, then that is always better than just being able to donate 20 or 50 or whatever dollars smile
