I've been looking for work for quite a while now but still no job. frown

I'm thinking that I keep screwing up the interview, but I don't know what it is that I'm saying (or not saying) that's killing me. Nowadays, with all the legal crap surrounding hiring and all, you can't even get decent feedback. I've had phone interviews that only lasted 15 minutes which...

I am just the laziest person alive. I think that it's some kind of chronic debilitating ailment. Unfortunately, most people are of the opinion that you can do something about laziness. But they're wrong. Wi-Fi doesn't help, I don't even have to leave my bed to get online. Sad but true facts about my laziness. I will skip meals because pouring a bowl of cereal...

Been trying not to spend all my time online the last few days, but I think it's just not gonna work. Since I'm still unemployed I have a lot of free time, and I do spend a lot of time looking at the want ads and reading stuff about how to get a job. But it's not that interesting and I'm very easily distracted. I...

It has this really weird push handle doohickey., and the tank is oval shaped instead of the traditional rectangle shape. It's probably like the first toilet ever made or something because it looks really old.

Not gonna say much here, cause I'm tired and I should have been asleep hours ago. Laptops with wi-fi seriously cut into my sleep time. Chat is fun. I get a kick out of seeing people on webcams. At least some people, expressions are nifty. Anyone who wants another friend in their list is welcome to add me, I don't turn anyone down. I might...

Glad you stumbled across my journal. I plan on keeping the genres pretty varied so that you wont get, say, two rare Louis Armstrong songs back to back or anything.

But its kinda nice to know that people are appreciating this sort of thing.

I'm wondering if i should post something on the music board.

In PA for at least a week. I have lots to do up here. Job interviews, doctor appointments that I've been putting off, lots of fun stuff. Plus about a month ago my wife's uncle suddenly decided he was going to marry the lady he's with this weekend. This will be his 3rd marriage so I think it's going to be a rather fast and...

I've got nothing exciting to say at the moment, and I should be asleep because I have to wake up early tomorrow to drive an hour and go learn about life insurance. However, I wasn't very happy with my previous post and it had been there for a while so I got annoyed and here I am. I turned on the TV and guess what...

OK, SO I can't sleep and I've been reading the webcam thread and I figured I might as well try and get my webcam working. I know nobody actually wants to see me on my webcam, but that's not really the issue. I just felt like doing it. So it works now. I'm not going to bore you with the details. But it's connected to...

Saw you on the webcam, I used to live in Ellicott City, for about 3-4 months or so. Never seen anyone else on here from there.

I was only there for summers during college really, a little bit. Girl I was dating's parents were from there. I'd have never seen myself ending up there either.

As I sit here eating gummy bears and procrastinating all the house cleaning that must be done I figured I might as well update my journal.

Big news: I now have 2 friends, at this rate I'll have no more room for friends in about a zillion years. Hopefully someone smarter then me will invent a pill or something that lets me live that long....

I need a hobby. All my so called hobbies cost too much money for an unemployed bastard like me.

Oh and this morning 2 nice Mexicans woke me up so they could lay pipe in my bathroom. eeek

Hopefully there will be no more burst pipes in my apartment in the near future. I just need someone to fill the gaping hole in the ceiling above...

Had a phone interview for a job this morning. I hope it went well. I never know how to answer that stupid question about my greatest weakness. It never made sense to me. I've read the books and the canned answers are clearly BS. What would be a good answer?

Oh well, it's raining again and supposedly today I will have more maintenece people tromping...

I hate that question. I figure that only stupid people will that kind of question; normally from HR.

Yes I have seen them (the Lotus Elise). Although the look about the same, SMARTS are made by Mercedes which in my opinion, and experience, is better than Toyota. Not to mention the fact that the car gets 60miles to the gallon and if you want more kick (which I do wink ) then you get the BARABUS upgrades for it. Also it weighs a lot less than the Elise. But it was a good suggestion none the less. biggrin

I drive very far to work, so the gas prices are a big issue for me. In regards to Fuel economy, what car would you buy (out of all the ones on the market)?
