Currently in Townsville, it's the end of March and the temperatures are still in the high 20s to low 30s (celcius). Good preparation for Darwin, where I'm going to be living for at least 6 months, starting in about 2 weeks time... I'm really looking forwards to getting there actually, from everything I've heard it's about the closest you can get to living in South-East...

It's only five days til we fly to New Zealand.

FIVE DAYS.

Holy shit.

I've resigned from my job and am spending the rest of the week visiting family before we leave. We've booked two nights at Hotel So in Christchurch, and have made a rough plan of the places we're going to visit on our 2-month roadtrip around both islands. Still in the process...

I had one of my molars pulled out by the dentist this morning. Not fun.

Guess this teaches me not to avoid going to the dentist for 7 years at a time :S

I'm definitely going to have yearly check-ups from now on. Really don't want to have to go through that again.

Hahaha. That sounds like a bad time!! I'm super paranoid about that stuff so I have yearly dental checkups, about the one adult thing I can actually pull myself together to do! tongue

Have you replaced the tooth yet?? Because I'm thinking gold, with a dollar sign imprinted in diamonds....

Currently working on my final uni assignment... my last assignment EVER for this degree. Well, not really working on it, since I'm procrastinating by posting on here.

It's a PR strategic communications management plan... if that means anything to anyone... and it's already 25 pages long. Due in on Monday... stressing.

I just have to keep reminding myself that I'm almost there.

Confirmed! Slower pace here in NZ as you can probably tell by the fact that no one has responded to your post in the SGNZ group in nearly a month from what I can tell. Anyway hope you enjoy your travels here and bring a coat, Wellington in June is far from tropical.

Yay I love New Zealand! It's high on my to visit list. smile
