A friend of mine is convinced my dog is actually an ex-girlfriend who died not long before I got him as a puppy. Jack is incredibly devoted and obsessed with me, far more than she ever was, he's also way too fond of balls and bones, not too mention gets along too well with my friend Rebecca who Jessica was always snipping at. But ofcourse, since he mentioned this it's hard to look at Jack the same way. I just got a call, Target wants to use him in a commercial. She always wanted to be on TV, go figure. A couple of weeks ago I found a hooker at Target and now they want to use my dog and give me money. I should shop there more.

Speaking of commercials I need to find 20-24 year old boys , good looking with a very rock attitude, for a jeans commercial. Casting is this Friday in LA and they have to fit the jeans--32/32. It pays well, but they don't want models. They want real people. If anyone out there in So Cal is interested or knows someone who is, e-mail me and I'll give you more info.

That's so bizarre. A few weeks after my grandmother died my gradfather found a newborn kitten on his doorstep. He was convinced that this kitten was my grandmother reincarnated. He's had the cat now for 12 years.

I've mentioned this anecdote really recently to somebody on this site, so I am beginning to believe it is a metaphor for my whole life, or something....

Anyway, two birds started to make a nest on the top of my parents' grandfather clock some years ago. They had to fly through the kitchen. My parents kept the door to the yard open at all times, so the birds could pass in and out whilst building their nest. Even though they knew that a thousand tons of bird shit were accumulating on top of their clock, they didn't want to disturb the birds. My dad's dad had just passed away, and he thought it was some kind of omen.

I spent the first 10 years of my life in New Orleans, I used to summer with my grandmother in the Shreveport/Bossier area. I guess growing up in the Deep South® makes you think it's normal to be oily and sweaty and mosquito-bitten all the time.

I actually just moved here from North Carolina where the humidity and mosquitoes are only marginally less aggressive.

I'm convinced that my roommate's cat is one of my dead exes. She's schizophrenic enough.

i worked at target. i was one of the overnight stockers. it was fun, i didnt have to work with customers or deal with traffic. the shift was from midnight to 7 or 8 in the morning.
