so the last two days have been totally fun.
i work for a band called visqueen here in seattle and sat we played at the graceland with an amazing band from new zeland called d4. they were total guitar rock ala the dictators. i had no idea what to expect and was really blown away. they were really nice as well and seemed impressed with seattles music history. i have not heard the record, but if you like guitar driven high energy rock and roll, i definately reccomend seeing them live.
then on sun we played a free radioshow for the end at the showbox with the donnas. it was a pretty hilarious situation cuz the showbox was showing the superbowl on a huge screen behind the stage, wich ment we couldnt really dress the stage or get a sound check. visqueen was scheduled to play at half time with the donnas to go on after the game finished. the problem with this is there is no way to tell when exactly when halftime is going to start without watching the game. also not being football fans none of us were sure how long halftime is.
appearently some of the kids started lining up at 3:30am sunday morning so they could be the first in line for the 2:00pm doors.
