well today was pretty uneventful for me but unfortunately my girlfriend got her purse and gym bag stolen from her car today. so its been unfun for her. she was at the junk yard looking for parts when it happened. by the way folks, if you ever need car parts you really should check the junk yards first befor you pay some overpriced shop prices. my girlfriend got a totally useable exhaust system for her honda today, only twelve dollars. the same at midas is over a hundred. well anyways she lost all her credit cards, make up, a library book and most important her work badge card keys and master keys to her building. she works in a medical facility and those keys gain access to restricted research labs, and patient care clinics. she called security and notified them but im sure its gonna end up costing alot to change all the locks. we dont know if she is gonna have to pay for it or not yet. the stupid thing is, her purse was stolen in lynwood and she works in seattle. there is very little chance a purse snatcher is going to want to vandalize a cancer care facility but im sure the insurance is gonna insist the locks get changed. well see what happens. she is pretty bummed though.
on another note, we went to see the distillers, garbage, and no doubt tonite. now i never really considered myself a no doubt fan but i have to admit that they put on a really entertaining show. i dont go to big shows like that very often. that gwen is very charismatic all have to say. i mostly went because my girlfrind has never seen garbage befor and she really wanted to see them. i had never seen them befor eaither, so i dont have anything to campair it to but i was expecting better. im not sure what, they wernt bad by anymeans, but still, shirly was the only one moving around. i dont know im probably too critical. we got in too late to see but two or three distiller songs. funny the sound for the distillers was notably worse than for the other bands. never underestimate the importance of a good sound engineer. im gonna have to go and get a cd in order to really hear the songs. all in all i think thirty buck is way too much to charge for a show. and any band im interested in id rather see in a smaller venue. oh well
