Finally got the tattoo going on my left arm yesterday, the film strip continues! Not only that, but my incredible artist Alice (from Infinity Tattoo here in Portland) asked me to come to the shop in a couple weeks when Skin & Ink does a profile on the shop. I was seriously fucking honored. Plus I get some free touch ups to boot.

I just read that Basil Poledouris has died. I find this incredibly sad. As a musician and a film geek, his scores were among my absolute all time favorites, and he ranks up there with John Williams, Bernhard Hermann, and Ennio Morricone as creators of truly memorable themes. ugh. I've had to bite my tongue to keep quiet about so much lately. I'm ready to burst. I thought vacation would help, and it was great, but now that I'm back it's the same old shit. I wish I thought everyone else was pulling their own weight.
