So I have been flirting with CrossFit and general fitness for years, never fully committed until now. I have been eating clean for 30 days and no BEER. Man I miss BEER! But I have a goal. I am competing in the CrossFit Open. Already registered, already scared.
For this past month eating clean to me means no processed food. Nothing from a box and nothing that has an ingredient list as long as your arm. I've also cut out all grains and dairy for this month to try and clean out my system and the result so far is 20 lbs down! Yep. In 30 days I have dropped 20 pounds. Had to punch another hole in my belt this morning to keep my pants ups. I am not going to post any pictures on here because lets be honest. We only want to check out the amazing girls on here not some fat guy.
Eating isn't the only thing I have been doing though. I did start working out more consistently. Everyday I do the WOD from www.crossfit.com . Granted I have to scale it to fit my ability at the moment but I am doing something none the less. I am gaining ground on it. I have known about CrossFit for some time now but always failed to stick with it but something is different now. I have flicked some switch in my head and now it is on like donkey kong.
The Open starts the last week of February and goes for five weeks. This should be fun and a good test for me.
