I find myself conflicted with my desires. Part of me always yearns for consistency and tightly regimented order, and the other half desires uninhibited freedom and being able to live with reckless abandon. sometimes I think it would be best to just live by the flip of the coin.

Really, as far as living arrangements go, I got it not too shabby- I'm pretty close to work and the gym, and the rent is cheap (espescially in this stupid market where a one bedroom craphole apartment is going for 1000+ a month) but I look forward to the day when I don't have to live with cats. Really. Nothing against anyeone who likes cats,...

For the record, corrective nose surgery sucks serious ass for at least a week afterwards. And they dont put you to sleep for it, so you get to hear the doctor ask for a hammer and chisel before the feeling it the ting followed by a cracking crunch goes all up in your face. I felt like a turkey that was carved by Master Shake....

I don't know if I ever mentioned my pitch for an idea for a reality-ish TV show- it would be along the lines of Pros vs Joes, except it would involve athletes competing against each other in each others respective sports. I think my sadistic reasoning for this concept comes from wanting to see the globs on the poker tour compete in a sport that...

I think the best three words to sum up my life right now:

Timing is everything

The ticks of the clock, the squares of a calendar, whatever, are ever proving to be my nemesis. There are only so many times one can hear 'if only we had met a little bit sooner' before the resolve starts eroding.

Anyone want to go out and take care...

Oh lord. I hear that nonsense all the time. "If only I'd met you before I met my wife." "If you only lived closer to me, then we could date."

I'd come drink with you if tickets to Edmonton weren't so damn expensive. I've already promised FreakPirate lemonade cake if I ever visit. tongue

So, from the 'would probably be real funny to say, but might not go over too well' file:

Prospective roommate is looking at the place, his girlfriends with him (whe wont be staying with us) as well as her kid. Now, I'm none too good with age estimates, but I'd say the rugrats like 5 or so, you know, the age where they run around...
