Been spending a lot of time working on restoring a 67 Impala, got the engine in tonight, I threw up a pic. I wil try to add more as everything comes together, If nothing else, atleast it is a way for me to document my progress. Not much going on in my world lately, getting pretty tired of work, it's the busy season for us, and it seems that everything coming through the door is an emergency. In years past if work had become like this, I would have simply quit, and looked for something else, however I'm determined to make this my last job. I started a new company with a friend at the beginning of the year, and if all goes well we should be able to quit our jobs by spring. We've had some fairly major setbacks, but are still determined to meet our schedule. My friend (and business partner) Shon convinced me to stay on at my job, and use the frustration as a driving force in getting back on track for our deadlines. So far it looks like he's been right.
I haven't really written like this before, many people say it relieves stress, but my personal feeling was that it was just a way for people to try to make their lives more important than they really are. (Nothing personal to those of you that right in your journals religously, just my opinion) Recently though I've found it quite fun to read through others journals.
