I see you like WSP. One of them is an member here, but rarely posts and stays anonymous.

I saw the Mighty Might Bosstones once at a HORDE Festival in '97. They rocked, but I was predominantly unfamiliar, so when someone joined them onstage for some kind of reunion jam the significance was not clear to me, but the huge billowing thrill of the crowd that knew who the guest was was invigorating. I was there for Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Taj Mahal (who called off sick) and Leftover Salmon. I was impressed by the Bosstones, Squirrel Nut Zippers, and Soul Coughing, who played several time slots for the bands that didn't show, including Taj Mahal.

Anyway, in re: the disabled vet thing - for what it's worth, thanks.smile I've got 3 nephews over there now. One just made Sgt in the Army. another is 2nd in command on a ship in the Navy and the other is in the Army. I'm so proud of (and so scared for) them all. The Sgt is right outside Baghdad and sees a lot of fighting. I thank God we're in an Age where we can converse via the webernet from time to time, though. VERY thankful.smile

BTW, I'm on a snail-up dial-up webernet connection, so I might take a bit to see all your artwork, but as an afficianado and sometimes arist myself, I like it so far. Most of my is in music, words and performance these daze, but I've drawn since I was a teeny weenie drawing machiny.
