So there I am in Meadowhall, minding my own business drinking my coffee and waiting for the Mrs, when all of a sudden I hear a creaking noise. I turn round just in time to see the cladding round a new store crashing to the ground, metal 'n' all. Thankfully, no-one was walking past at that exact moment, or they'd be a little squishy by...

So here I am, sat on my bed with my laptop, a glass of my favourite cheap-ass red wine and Arrested Development on DVD, and I realise it's been about six weeks since I last updated.

Things are actually going pretty well at the moment. Scary I know, but still here we are. First things first: work. Last week I started a secondment to our...

It's all to do with the experience even if you're not getting paid the going rate. Just having the application on your CV for an actual company will open many doors.

I can't believe it was so long ago, one of my earliest memories.

I did all of my university exams in the hillsborough gymnasium... always a little harrowing. :/ x

thanks so much for your words, i really appreciate it. for the most part i am constantly inspired and motivated but just can never pull myself together enough to get "stuff" done. i know that sounds weird, and i definitely count my blessings that really, i am lucky i get the motivation i do and i just have to learn to put it to good use. i hope you can do the same with the few things that do excite you smile xx.

i love rothko's work! went to his exhibition at the tate when i was in london, i was really looking forwards to it but was dissapointed when i got there as it was really busy! you can't appriciate his work with people walking in front of you and talking around you i don't think. you need to sit in a quiet room and stare at his work... i tend to not like crowds in general anyway smile

Soldier crashes tanks on German joyride
A British soldier crashed not one but two 8-tonne reconnaissance tanks after breaking out of his camp in north Germany early on Friday on a drunken joyride.

The 18-year-old soldier drove the first Scimitar tank out of his camp near Hohne at about 4 a.m. but left the road after half a kilometre and the vehicle ground to a...

Supposed to be researching for my job interview on Thursday but can't seem to concentrate. So instead I'm listening to Dream Theater and thinking back over a bizarre day which involved a boss I've never spoken to before offering to pull strings to get me promoted and relocated...

...the only problem being it'd be less money than the aforementioned job interview, and I'd be staying...
