Thank you for all your lovely feedback on Daughter of Neptune. If you haven't seen it yet, go look, pretty please
Yesterday, was a very, very strange day.
BUT! I finally went to see the Otto Dix exhibit at the Muse des beaux-arts. If you are in the Montral area, or passing through before January, I really suggest you go. It made my head spin. I couldn't even articulate my thoughts on half of it. It really is so interesting to view the world through someone else's sometimes-very-strange lens. He captured his subjects in this really intense but bizarrely telling way. I don't really know else to describe it, but I'm still thinking of some of the pieces this morning... even though I slept a whole 5 seconds. It was really cool. Go.
Answers to a few commonly asked questions:
1. What happened to your septum piercing?
My septum piercing is indeed still around. I just don't have any jewelry that I really like for it right now, and I find that CBBs sometimes make funny shadows that are distracting in photos. So. It is in hiding, but still in existence.
2. What's up with the tattoos on your right arm?
I have an old piece there (the light-colored fish on my upper arm) that I'm reworking and incorporating into a larger piece. Alex K is helping me out with this. I've only done one sitting so far. Basically, we wanted to get the line work/shading for the new work mostly done, but he's going to re-do my old piece, integrate the 2, fill in lots of little blanks, cap the whole thing, and color, of course. Lots of work to go. I'm really happy with what he has done so far, although I know my arm looks a little strange in transition.
3. Will you marry me?
Probably not.
End FAQ.
A few sets in member review that you should ogle, appreciate, and comment on:
Vivid's decay. Holymotherfuck, it is awesome. She makes me weak in the knees. I don't think I've ever even commented on her blog or anything because I'm too busy drooling over her gorgeousness.
Atlea's Skyper Sex. It is really cute.
Lee's Staring at the Sea. She is so naturally gorgeous.
Sheena's Corazon Salvaje. I've already loved on it, but I still love it. She and Temper really did a great job.
Absolution and Maslow's Zombie Tea Party. It should REALLY have a higher comment count and a better rating. Guys, WTF? The girls did something creative, playful, and just a llllllittle sinister. They didn't really cater to what everyone thinks is "hot" which I think is brave of them in a member review setting. Go give them some love for their hardwork (You'd think photoshoots would be easy, but they're not.) Plus, are they adorable zombies or what?

Was hoping to be in Montreal this year, but it looks likes I will miss that exhibit, looks interesting. Great to see all the love for your set, it definitely deserved it.

Please stop mentioning Alex K. 'cause each time you do, I get the itch to get more work done and he just finished my sleeve
