What's new?
First off.. I haven't got around to thanking those of you that have left some really awesome comments on Be My Lover, my set in member review. I do totally appreciate it and I'm glad most people seem to be enjoying it. Barely any makeup on, no fancy lighting (just the light from the windows), and minimal photoshop = real-life Jaeci. Although in real life, I do normally wear clothing... And my hair is occassionally under control, but what can I say, I've got a mop on my head
I'm seriously thinking of taking a break from school which means I'll have no choice but to leave Montral. At this point, I'm ok with that.
What's next, you ask?
I guess I'd stay with my folks for a couple months (2-3) so I could save up money for a big move. I do need to finish school because I've got to make my student loan debt *worth* something...
So where next? I've come up with a few places that really appeal to me and put out a couple pros and cons for each
NYC?
Basically home.... zillions of opportunities and connections... plus I love it there... but wickedly expensive to live. I'm not a grand fan of roommates. I also love urban areas but also love space, which is somewhat limited...
LA?
I think I would like it there this time around. Expensive, but I found it more affordable than NYC. Far from home, but I do have an aunt there who I love lots (and Kemper is nearby, she's great!)... I love the feel of the city, don't love the plasticity of some of the people, but then again, they probably don't love my big mouth and rather biting sense of humor...
PDX
Affordable comparably, really dig the alternative culture, don't love the raininess, and don't have any family there, although a couple friends are in the area now.
Austin
Again, funky town and affordable compared to NY/LA. Possibly too hot for me... but I love Texas. Music, music, music. Cheaper flights home than PDX. Not so much rain.
Berlin
Pipe dream.
Any thoughts?

NY or Austin, seriously

I keep hearing rumors that rents are coming down in NYC. I wouldn't know, because I haven't been looking. But that's what my friends here tell me.
