That has to go down as one of the worst festive periods we've experienced. New Years Eve we lost my wife's mother unexpectedly after an operation. We thought she was getting better and then suddenly she was gone. NYE will never be quite the same for us again I think.

Still life goes on but like always when you lose someone, things will never be...
