ok so moving sucks nuts! The boys got here late friday night and crashed. then saturday we moved all my crap. I was totally unprepared and am in fact half way between my new place an my old place. i'm staying at my new place mainly, thank heavens. My old roommate's 8 yr old daughter just moved back in. Don't get me wrong I like kids and she's even ok sometimes, but for the most part she's bossy she's whiney and she thinks the world should cater to her! Then get her around her sister, who's 11, and my hell i'd go crazy.
Anyhow after we were finished moving my stuff on saturday we went to Vegas, and it sucked. When we first got there it wasn't too bad. Then I got hungry and we couldn't agree on a place to eat so we walked the strip for way too long and now i have a blister on my big toe valley. Then John told me it was up to me to decide where to eat, and that pissed me off. I mean I wan't the one who cared how much the food would cost! We ended up at Mcdonalds. And left to drive back home around 1 am.
The boys wanted to go to Grand Caynon yesterday, but I knew it wasn't going to happen. Jeremiah wanted to go back to Vegas and do some shopping and The Canyon is a 6 hour drive, and they didn't even get up til 11 and leave my place til 1. So they went to vegas again and i stayed back at home, and got all domestic on my house. I put up new roman shades, hung curtains and whipped out some new put together furniture!
Today I need to finish my moving. I'm sad that My kitties can't come with me til later this week, when I actually get the keys to the place. Until then my place is bound to be lonely. I hate to think what Tia, roommat's daughter, does to my babies while i'm gone!
