Legion really frustrated me it could've been so much better, a host of angels descending from the heavens to lay waste to mankind would be an amazing spectacle but they totally fudged it, by having possess people instead.

Fringe really surprised me at first it didn't really seem to be going anywhere but it's really picked up over time and John Noble's portrayal of Walter is of a calibre you don't usually get on a mainstream show flawlessly switching from mad scientist to vulnerable and confused and back again as well as portraying Waltenate who is essentially a different character.

I've seen the first series of Being Human and thought it was some of the best British TV I've seen in ages.

As for True Blood I think it's excellent, it's got HBO stamped on it like a cattle brand and I don't think you could do the same show any other way.

I always did like the episodes Stephen Moffat wrote. And having put Amy in a police uniform for that whole episode, I'm now convinced that we share the same wavelength. x

Harry Brown? I think i have to respectfully disagree, i saw it and thought it was quite, quite pants. I understand the principles of verisimilitude and all that but I do think a film which claims to be a piece of social realism should have something slightly believable in it. I mean are we really expected to believe an old man with emphysema could hunt down a bunch of youngsters. Oh and its just not true that all drug dealers are rapists and paedophiles, some of them are very lovely people.....discuss x

I know what you mean about the not trying new things, I hope I never stop experiencing and enjoying new ideas and interests.

I've just added to my journal to point out that I don't really think that parents who smack are "monsters", it's just that the attack I saw was so vicious I can't help but start ranting about it.
