so starting this workout thing, but realizing I'm limited in both knowledge and equipment, asking for help....here's what I got:
Shoulder Machien (Lat Pulls downs and mid-row exercise)
Bench Machine (bench, incline press)
Leg extension/leg curl machine
treadmill
elliptical machine
bike
anyone know of a good workout routine to help get in better shape to use with those? currently, I do the following:
10 minutes on the treadmill to warm up
bench or lat pull down or mid-row or something like that
elliptical or bike (for about 30 minutes) that is more cardio
bench or lat pull down or row or something like that (different exercise)
10 minutes on treadmill to cool down
thanks one and all for the help on this! one of the disadvantages to your father never being around, working out is alien to you!

and yea, starting pretty much from scratch. did some in Grad School, until my roommate snapped. and got discouraged when my dad talked to his doctor about doing sets of 290 for wrist curls....
but I hit a softball harder than he does! so that's what counts!
hahahaha, you're prone to injuries too!
