"today, another nice customer. he is going through my line (afternoon shift, I'm on express). I do the usual "How are things?" and "Did you find everything?" he has a nice conversation with me, and then leans in (after paying) and tells me that he is going to pay for the woman's energy drink behind him, not to tell her though, for "Some good karma."

so he pays, and then walks away. she goes to pay, and I give her the receipt, telling her "The guy in front of you paid for it already, for some good karma."

so guess not all people suck, huh?"
