well, got the garage about 95% or so done. there is still a box of chemicals that has to be disposed of (my step-father's father is also a pack-rat.....so now I know where he gets it from), as well as a small pile for my mom to sort through and my step-father to sort through (his father's stuff). finally, some car fluids as well to get rid of (power steering fluid, brake fluid, transmission oil, and engine oil). a few more things re-arranged and then we'll all be good for the new freezer.

kind of fun doing the work....started at 10 AM by pulling everything out. made five piles (toss, recycle, sort, keep, and donate). my step-father got home a few hours later as I was cleaning things out.....so set him on the mission of sorting through things. we ended up filling about 5 garbage cans full of stuff. got a new hanging system for the garage and a few hooks. some organizing and planning and labeling....now the hard part of getting him to stick with putting things away. which he already has not done. for a man that was in the military, he is a total slob who has no clue how to put something back where he found it.

not too much otherwise. my sister's employer is being a C-U-Next Tuesday to her. she works for a school photography business, and is one of the veteran photographers. she has about 15 years or so (or more) in the field. well, the lead photographer (and owner's 4th wife) doesn't like her too much. the past 2 weeks, everyone (including the new people) were scheduled five to six days for work....except for my sister, who got 3 days. I found out that she makes about $8,000 a year with no benefits at this company. screw that....she could make more money working where I work (Wegmans) part-time....and get benefits (health insurance, retirement, and other perks). so she plans on applying and I'm saying something to HR to get her in. she gets hired....she leaves the company she currently works for. she might not be happy...then again, at Wegmans, the management team tends to frown upon reducing someone to tears. while her current employer has done that to many people.

think that's about it.....shoulders still hurting. a few weeks back, working maintenance, and I lift a bag of garbage out (dead lift style) I feel an odd sensation in my shoulders...and they have been sore ever since. yes, the sensation/feeling was along the lines of something ripping. hopefully they heal soon....I just won't go to the doctor (too thick headed...plus doctor's poke me with needles but won't let me poke them with a needle after wards).

that's about it....new shows start soon. anything you look forward to watching? for me...maybe "2 Broke Girls". something about it seems funny. since Eureka gets ends next season, it opens up a time slot for me. not that I watch much TV...I think a year of TV viewing for me (show-wise) is as follows (and much I watch on DVD):

Dexter (on DVD)
Game of Thrones (when I catch it)
Eureka
Warehouse 13
NCIS (when I catch it)
House (on DVD)
Restaurant Impossible
Supernatural
Grey's Anatomy (on DVD)
Big Bang Theory

that's about it...actually not too much. and yes, I do watch the Food Network....Giada De Laurantis just has a certain something bout her that is appealing! love

so what about you?
i___zombie:
Sounds like quite the project! I would hang onto the car fluids though ... always handy wink

I don't watch much telly, just whatever comes over the rabbit ears, when I get home from work. Lately it's been Monk, Psych, Without a Trace ... I usually watch movies on Netfix ... still cheaper than cable/sat

I got 2 Giada books. I got a crush on her.

You watch the same shows as my wife - Dexter, NCIS, House, and Big Bang Theory.
