so 2 things...
last night, working. cashier. flying along, a girl comes through chatting on her cell phone. pays by Credit, I hit the button, then she goes "Oh, I have coupons...is it too late?"
yes....so I tell her that if she goes to the Service Desk, they'll take care of everything.
the next customer in line goes "And if you weren't so busy talking on your cell phone instead of paying attention, then you would not need to go to the Service Desk, since you would have your coupons ready."
I reply "I'm not saying a word" with a grin.
and the other thing....I might just look at moving to Alaska for a job next year. probably not. but WTF, right?
so far...it will take about $1000 plus gas to move there via UHaul. outside of that, researching (via alaskateacher.org) what its like.
suggestions anyone?
seriously...poll time...what areas of the country (or perhaps Canada, depending on what it takes to move there) should someone certified in New York State as a school counselor look for a job? I like snow actually and have trouble breathing in hot weather, especially hot humid weather (being asthmatic and all). and I tend to not be very social, especially at first, so a big city (like New York City) probably would not be a good idea!
thanks!
