well, I found out more interesting things about the Rochester job market.
on Sunday, a new Wegmans store opened. about $20 million in building the new store. Wegmans is moving away from a small scale store style (which the founder of the company used) to a large scale "supermarket" style store. which might be good. however, since people do like the small store feel, I have a feeling it could backfire. but I digress.
so I stopped by at the new store. and saw an old manager. she was the one who was going to put in a good word for me at a school district I applied at (Holley). where the job posting got pulled down.
she tells me "Yeah, the budget did not pass, so the district could not hire anyone new."
gee, wonder how many other schools that happened to? I know that another district cut the proposed position because of funding, and the district I lived in was supposed to have a new position that never opened. yeah, guessing that part of the problem was the fact that districts could not pass their budgets.
so now what? St. Joseph's Villa's application is sitting in front of me. waiting to hear back from the classmate who works there (that I am using as a reference). noticing that there are jobs elsewhere...if I only could move. but right now, I can not. however, ideally, next year, the story will be different. yeah, I do believe it is time to leave this area.
so that's about it. still need to fix that transmission stuff. however, right now, while I can see the rust on the side cover....so far, the transmission fluid levels are still good. so if there is leaking, its not too bad. so I have time.
so anyone know where I can get a Transmission side cover for a 2002 Dodge Neon (Automatic)? or is it a dealer part? since the dealer wanted $110 to fix it, I'm guessing the part is no more than $20 either!
thanks!

I didn't expect you to see any rust either
They probably just want to make some of their warranty money back
