so worked the past few days...oh how screwed my Front End Manager shall be.
he has promoted one person to coordinator (help things run, kind of a stepping stone). she's doing okay, but being new, has a lot of questions.
he has lost 2 of the best part-timers he has (one he initially denied the transfer to, but she got a full-time position, so she's leaving anyways).
2 more of the good ones could leave in August (one definite, she's going away for college, the other is a possibility as well).
so after all is said and done, we will have:
1 full time coordinator
1 coordinator who works but is very limited to her hours that she works
1 out on Maternity leave
1 who basically works when she wants to work (and tends to call in a lot, either "car troubles" or "sick" or "family issues"
2 who are new and have potential
1 who seems to be on a power trip
1 who is more concerned with looking at her make-up/finger nails/feet/whatever instead of doing her job.
yeah, he's screwed.
and me, well, since I have voiced an interest in being a coordinator a few times and nothing, come December (when I get my anniversary pay of 40 hours), I could very well leave as well (especially if I get a good paying school counselor job).

it was to be celebrated with 5 days of drunken debauchery. Now that will be postponed for the closing of the house.
