Don't worry if people get mad. It needs to be said. We can't turn a blind eye to someone who is suffering through addiction. They get to a point where if someone doesn't reach out, they won't make it. I have watched both of my sons go through it, still watching actually. The younger one has made 2 tries at rehab. 5 days after the second try my ex gave him her car and some money, he drove several miles away, bought some synthetic marijuana, smoked it and started driving back to her house. He blacked out while driving and ran a guy off the road on a bike. The guy later died. Don't know how long he will be in jail, but I do know he should be. He is paying a very big price for his addiction. It breaks my heart what has happened, and at times I can't help but feel that I have failed him in some way. But I do believe one thing. If marijuana was legal, he would be much better off. The alternative (synthetic ) , is so damaging to your body, and affects you worse than the real thing does. It is certainly no worse for you than alcohol. That's legal.  I have about decided that the only purpose of government is to make our life more difficult and take away our rights.  Let your voice be heard.
