Well I better head off to work, just thought I'd drop in and say that dis_orientation is on again tonight for the Sydney siders, 8:30 at the Abercrombie Hotel. Tonight is going to be a bit more of a band night than our usually electronic art stuff. So come and see if you're keen, I'll be the one running around like a chook with it's head cut off cause nothing ever goes to plan with these gigs.

yeah, once you knock it down to 128kbs and mp3 it, then get it played through 2 inch speakers you lose a bit, but its only a 5 track song at the moment.. Drums, vocal, piano, 16ths piano and some reverse bell synth so Ive still got room to fill it up with unnecessary noise!

(Im hopeless when it comes to electronica... I dont know when to stop!)

yeah, with my electronic stuff I make a point to try and play the whole piece for the core parts (bass and melody) instead of playing a few bars and lopping.... it lets me get into the groove of the song and I can feel when its right to say thats it..... STOP!

Continually adding in noise and harmony until is a wall of sound and undistinguishable is my problem!

Do you have some stuff I could listen too?

Ahhh I have the same ... except mine won't run on the laptop. And on top of that, my computer is in a server case and I have a big old CRT monitor. Not very portable
