Been a while. I really haven't been checking my page too much, or spending much time online. In fact, I kind of swore against in for a while, in lieu of much free time to balance with work and an outside life.

Getting psyched for the two tours. Turns out we're only playing some of the first tour with Leftover Crack, but some is also with World Inferno, and I love playing with them- they're great to watch. I'm not really fond of the idea of being away for 6 weeks, though.

Things at work are getting out of hand. Music teachers are such whores- they want to use us, but they don't wanna give us time to really do it right or enjoy it. God I feel used.

There has been so much loss, too. Recently, we had a young child killed- struck by a falling tree while riding his bike. His family just moved here from Turkey. Before that, a mother of 4 awesome boys- three of whom were band students of mine- was killed in a car accident. Another child's house burnt completely out. Another staff member's nephew died....it's just one after another. Alright- enough depressing stuff for now. It's really crowded down here, and with more people comes more tragedy- but it doesn't make it any easier to take.

So- my next entry will be more smiley and up. Man, it's been a while. On an up-side, though, I'm feeling alright, I'm in great shape and I'm doing pretty damn well staying sane and calm. I just really wanna fucking break something nice sometimes.
