So... I was sideswiped by a Mac truck driving home tonight. Fortunately, no injury to me, and the car doesn't look to be that badly damaged. Either my reflexes are more catlike than I've supposed, or my guardian angel was putting in overtime.
Fortunately, the truck driver seems a decent sort, already gave me some money, and I have contact information if it runs higher than what I was given.
Much less bad than it could have been... but I'm still a bit on edge.

I slid into a ditch on the Highway between Edmonton and Calgary during the last (ok, pretty much only... it was a light winter) big snowfall of this year - I was an edgier driver for a while after that, I'll tell ya.
