Gotta love desert sunsets

Made a pit stop in my birth town to visit the caddy's. It was 25º and iced over solid. That isn't snow.

Lastly, but not least. I had to share this pic that I came across in lieu of the episode 7.

This week I had a few dark encounters..

This was the first, just over a 3 ft rattler with 12 rattles. He was skinnier than most rattlesnakes his size.

The tarantula is really a nightly occurrence..

and this was just for fun..

I had a couple pics from a little nikon point and shoot. (I can't stand digital) Not bad for a digital zoom though. This was 10 minutes after the exact center of the eclipse from the left coast. The bottom right is getting brighter as the sun starts to clear the top right portion.

So psyched to go see this on Friday night at the Copley Symphony Hall.

My travels this week brought me to Palm Desert. I was given this piece of Fulgurite which is caused when lightning strikes sand. I had never seen a piece in person before this so I was pretty excited to be given a piece from a buddy.
