Im thinking about palindromes right now. I was staring in the mirror, thinking about the symmetry of most things, and I ended up stuck on palindromes. Start at the nucleus, work in both directions. OOPS! Crispy is half right. I did mistakenly say, "I am" instead of "I'm", but a palindrome is a word or phrase that is spelled the same forward or backward. Mine was 2 phrases. It's clever enough to amuse your buddies at the bar but it's not technicly a palindrome.

*sigh* Always the bridesmaid...

I'm reading, too. I scattered my beloved dog's cremains after she died while I was on a really crappy x-mas vacation. She was already cremated when I got back. She was a real sweetie. graveyards are very interesting places. I like to look for the fresh graves. Reading obituaries and looking for the young ones is a bit sobering as well.

Marla...I know what you mean about looking for the young ones in obituaries. I do that whenever I read the paper, always end up poring over the obits, trying to imagine how a person died, checking out who they "left behind."

Oh, but it's not inherently broken, man. It's temporarily broken, and I believe we are on a clear, fast path to destruction right now, but it's not too late to put on the brakes. It's either that or self-destruct, and humans are far too self-interested to let that happen...at leat I hope.
