I had a weird dream...
In it I was continually lost and confused and trying to get somewhere. That was the consistent theme.
I first remember being in a crowded stadium.
I'd go by the ticket booth, go under the concrete walkways. The images were fairly vivid. I'd look out to the field or scoreboard to orient my self.
The scene would shift and it looked more like a park. There were tennis courts and a jogging track.
I kept seeing the same landmarks like I was going in circles
Finally I seemed to figure out that one side of the stadium had people and the other side was an empty walkway. From the empty walkway (the park side) I could see the entire stadium from the upper level.
It looked alike living creature with all the people inside moving around as if it was a sea anenome.
When I was about 11 I went to a football season and wandered around the stadium when I got bored.
Then I was at an airport. There was a flight I was trying to catch. More confusion going from runway to gate, through the halls of the airport.
I was headed to japan to go back and teach a class. It was some sort of one time teaching thing where I would fly back to Japan.
I did actually teach english in Japan.
I realize that going to one place would take 8 hours to get there and then back. So I decide to switch flights. At one point I was on something of a shuttle on the runway and also more confusion and being lost.
At one point I'm back on the streets of Japan near the train station I used to live near. Scenes from the train station, airport and stadium all seem to blend together.
I seem to be at my destination - a strip mall in Japan. There were already a group of students and english teachers there.
This guy named Peter or something introduces himself as the teacher. Other female teachers come out like it's summer camp and then began to sing. I hesitantly began to sing but stop.
It seemed like my class was next, but I hadn't prepared anything. I don't even know the time or place to meet. I look at my papers, which earlier a japanese ex-employee gave me, a business card, flight tickets, some papers.
It seemed that my class had already passed. I'm not even sure what time it is.
Then I was in a car driving around what seemed like a combination of Japanese countryside and freeway system where I live.
I kept looking through papers as I drove to figure out what was going on. I had to call the offfice to let them know I switched locations and I couldn't find the place to teach.
I try to stop my car somewhere. I drive a gas station but can't stop. Then I go into a kind of store. There are TV guides all along the walls. There are people arguing, families with kids. I'm trying to find a schedule and it's really a TV guide.
Finally I woke up.
The funny thing about this dream was that there was actually not that much anxiety about it even though I was continually lost.
It was a really mundane dream where the scenery was odd and vivid but not nothing too freaky happened, and I was continually preoccuppied with figuring out what was going on.

It's cool that you were teaching english in japan. I used to teach english to chinese and korean students. I learned so much.
What part of Japan did you live in?
