where was the last time you used it? is there a spot in your house where you don't get signal? battery dead maybe?

Time to start checking sofa cushions . . . under the furniture . . . where do you usually keep it? In a purse, in your pockets, next to the seat in the car? So many places to look! In your bed?

Sounds as if it might have died. Look somewhere wet; in the bath? Has it rained recently? If so, maybe you did what I did once, and put it on the roof of the car; then drove away.
(OK, I did that with a jar of coffee. But the point's the same.)

I get signal Everywhere.
It's not in the sofa cushions, or under the furniture. It's not in my pockets from yesterday or my purse or the car.
I took my room apart for painting and took everything out of it, so it's not in my room. It was in my bed but I moved it this morning before I lost it. I haven't made any calls today so I didn't just set it down somewhere.
It's not in the yard, it's not in a bucket, it's not in the plants, it's not in the washer or the dryer or in the cabinet.

I had it this morning at my house. I checked my text messages and then set it down, but where?

(i'm annoyed by this yes, but only so much. more inconvenienced than devastated. and irritated. I hardly lose anything ever. )

I probably do want a new phone. one that's dimplier, and not so complex. (actually I think I don't want a phone at all.)
