Web design and graphic design are pretty cool areas to study. No shortage of interesting stuff to do. Hope it works out well.
I'm studying computational biology, which is basically using computers to study molecular biology: DNA, evolution, and all that stuff. Another year or so and I should (with luck) have my PhD. Then I can start real life... only 20 years late!
The big news out here right now is rain: it's been raining and raining and raining... some parts of BC are flooding, and the rest are just very very wet. Oh well... price of living here, I guess.
