We have a new Pope and I really could give 2 shits! All I can say about the last one is only the good die young. And the new one is older than crap too! If he makes it 5 years I'd be surprised. Fuck it. Religion is a crock anyway.

His age indicates that they really couldn't decide and didn't think they'd be able to within a reasonable amount of time. He's already way beyond life expectancy and, being the guy in charge of the voting, the most obvious choice under those circumstances. Think of him more as the interim Pope.
