The new name and line-up for Jasmine Tree's live, video & musical sketch comedy troupe is great. By some cruel twist of fate, first Tuesday in November is Election Day! Which means we're putting on a politically charged supershow full of bad impressions of George Bush. You'll like it. Well, we lost Jihad and the Nimpsy connection to workloads for Nemo Designs and the Qutub brothers' NGATWN line, but Nicki Toma and I have joined forces with Dax Jordan, Scott "Hecktow" Klatt and friends to re-emerge as "Extra Medium" every first Tuesday at the Jasmine Tree (4th & SW Harrison) at 8:30 PM

We had big numbers and bad press (http://www.wweek.com/story.php?story=4989) for April's first-Tuesday show at the Jasmine Tree. We seem to have lost current cast members Phantom Hillbilly and Crispin Rosencrantz as we lost Rachel, Yael, Wes (briefly), Nicki Toma, Jared, Sean, Hectow, Nancy and Austin before them. Are we really that hard to work with?

Neat. Someone is scouring the net for every vestige of "what is me," and giving me feedback, like, "all of your favorite suicide girls have dark hair that's short... or not so short." So, presumably, that's an indicator of what sort of woman I'd seek in a relationship? I think they have the best photo sets. They're funny, and sure, they're easy on the eyes.

I'm glad my membership didn't expire. I've been making lots of short digital videos which I show last Tuesdays at Portland's Nocturnal open-screen. I thought it would be funny to interview people outside of Ace of Hearts before one of their monthly gang-bangs, then make a ten-second mockumentary of hat it's like inside: a big pile of shirtless men, and one says, "what a sausagefest."

I had this big fat crush come true on Halloween, then was subsequently shot down. I think I built it up as some sort of religious experience that I didn't deserve. Which isn't healthy. I know some people keep several concurrent crushes going and they're not necessarily prioritized. I just don't work that way so I got all confused and bummed.

I was in the courthouse recently, you know, filling out a restraining order... and I saw this board of recent name changes and thought: I should definitely DO that. I'm thinking: first name MISTER, last name FUNNYPANTS.
